This duck reminds me that there is beauty in solitude. It swims elegantly and gracefully, unbothered by its single status. It is empowering and calming at the same time.                                                                                                                Artist's comments ... a young boy with a bright smile enjoying a canopied playground with big shapes and bright colors drawn with pencil and chalk...  Youthful joy makes me feel good.  Exactness is not my goal in my renderings.  Absolute precision is not what I aim for.  In all aspects of my life, perfection is non-existent.  And yet, a measure of satisfaction is still attained.                                                           Artist's Comments ... a friendly little red bird approached too trustingly, obviously looking for food, then majestically perched itself on the nearby chair at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens...  I feel amazed at how the colors, composition, and lines complement each other so well in the pic.  I want to just keep staring at it.
